Joe Books was a Canadian comic book publisher based in Toronto, Ontario. It partnered with The Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm to produce a series of "Cinestory Comics" from the Star Wars saga, including the original trilogy films and the Star Wars Rebels animated television series.
On March 1, 2019, Joe Books Ltd. filed for section 49(1) bankruptcy with FTI Consulting Canada and is no longer active.[1] Out of ten planned comics, only four were published before the company filed for bankruptcy, causing the remaining comics to be canceled.
