Jiona was a female pilot who flew in the New Republic's Hail Squadron during the Galactic Civil War. In 5 ABY,[2] she flew a Y-wing under the callsign Hail Ten during a battle with the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing over the planet Chadawa. After the battle, she appoached Captain Nath Tensent after he landed in the Deliverance's hangar bay, and instisted they go back, as she saw Hail Nine ejected when his Y-wing was blown apart by one of the Raider-class corvettes.[1]
