The Jillsaria system[4] was a star system located in the Minos Cluster of the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories[1] that was home to the sentient Jillsarian species.[2][3]
Behind the scenes
The Jillsaria system was established in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, which placed it within grid square M-20. While the book[5] and its StarWars.com Online Companion both misspelled the system "Jillsaaria,"[1] Fry confirmed that it should be spelled "Jillsaria," in reference to the Jillsarian species.[4]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. This article treats the Jillsaria system as the location of one such homeworld with regard to the Jillsarian species.
