Jidel was a member of the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing who died at some point prior to Lieutenant Yrica Quell's defection from the Empire[2] in 4 ABY.[1] In 5 ABY,[3] Quell had a vision of Jidel and some other dead friends of hers from the 204th while subjected to Force energies from an observatory in the Cerberon system.[2]

Jidel was mentioned in the 2020 novel Shadow Fall: An Alphabet Squadron Novel, the second volume of the Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy written by Alexander Freed.[2]
