Jessamyn was a female member of the Alderaanian consular security who served under Captain Miara Larte.
Biography
Jessamyn was a female who was part of the Alderaanian consular security. She served under Captain Miara Larte, who regarded her as a very professional soldier, and acted as her second in command. She was offworld when her homeworld of Alderaan was destroyed by the Death Star and the Galactic Empire. She was present in the Great Temple on Yavin 4 in 0 ABY for the Royal Award Ceremony. Although she did not think that a celebration was appropriate in the aftermath of Alderaan's destruction, Larte reassured her that they had not lost everything. Jessamyn was encouraged by her captain's words and shed tears as Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, and Chewbacca were honored for their heroics during the Battle of Yavin.[1]
