Jerrod Lourdas, or Vortex 4 as his designation in Vortex Squadron, was a Human male sandspeeder pilot of the Rebel Alliance who was assigned to Vortex Squadron at Arda I Rebel base. Shortly before the Battle of the Gauntlet, he was assigned to patrol Torrence Run, but skipped Sector 7 to sweep Sector 17. He liked to play Sabacc during his off-hours.[1]
