The Arda I Rebel Alliance base was established several years prior to the Battle of Yavin by the Ardan resistance before becoming a key Alliance outpost in the Gordian Reach sector.
Layout

The base was established in the the Gauntlet, a long, twisting canyon on Arda I. The main hangar was part of the cave system in the canyon, and was two kilometers wide. The habitation area consisted of dormitories and dozens of rooms for officers. The mess hall served as a lounge in the off-hours. The base also contained a medbay and command and control section, as well as an armory and auxiliary hangar, which housed at least two Kihraxz assault fighters.
History
The base was established by the Ardan resistance led by Ran Niall several years prior to the Battle of Yavin, and became a key site for Rebel Alliance outpost. The base's location was leaked by the traitor Var Narek a few weeks after the Battle of Yavin. The Galactic Empire sent a large force to attack the base. It was eventually destroyed when the Rebels sabotaged the main power core.

The Arda I base appears in Fantasy Flight Games' 2014 roleplaying game adventure Onslaught at Arda I.
