- "The Temple's armory stores these artifacts inside its Black Vault. I added the Tzuhakk broadsword after recovering it on Bpfassh."
- ―Mace Windu, Book of Sith
An armory existed within the Jedi Temple on the Galactic Republic capital planet of Coruscant in the waning years of the Jedi Order. Within the armory was the Black Vault, the Order's storage place for Sith weapons.[2] By 19 BBY,[1] the Jedi Master Mace Windu recorded in a section of Sorzus Syn's chronicle on Sith weaponry that he placed the Tzuhakk broadsword in the Jedi armory's Black Vault after retrieving the blade from[2] the Outer Rim world of Bpfassh.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Jedi Temple armory was mentioned in Book of Sith: Secrets from the Dark Side, a reference book authored by Daniel Wallace that was published by becker&mayer! in 2012.[4]

Notes and references
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 The reference book Book of Sith: Secrets from the Dark Side establishes that Mace Windu placed the Tzuhakk broadsword in the Jedi Temple armory. Since The New Essential Chronology states that Windu died in 19 BBY, the event, including the armory's existence, must have occurred by 19 BBY.
