Jedha crystals were a class of kyber crystal found on Jedha,[1] a moon in the Mid Rim Territories.[2] Jedha crystals were treasured by Jedi and members of the Church of the Force as artifacts from Jedha. Lightsabers with Jedha crystals produced focused, potent blades.[1]
Following the destruction of Jedha City[1] by the first Death Star's superlaser,[3] some Jedha crystals were recovered from its ruins. Many of the recovered crystals were cracked and damaged, and those were referred to as "cracked Jedha crystals." Unlike undamaged Jedha crystals, cracked Jedha crystals used in lightsabers produced unstable, ragged blades. Cracked Jedha crystals cost 8,000 credits.[1]
