- "He saw the deaths of his two sons, Jaxor and Tev, both wise in the Force."
- ―Kam Solusar remembering Jaxor's death
Jaxor Solusar was the son of Jedi Knight Kam Solusar and Fheela, as well as the grandson of Jedi Master Ranik Solusar. Jaxor grew up to be very skilled with the Force, displaying a similar aptitude for it as his father and grandfather. During the Great Jedi Purge, Jaxor was hidden away with his mother and brother, Tev Solusar, on the planet, Anoth under Ranik Solusar's protection. However, Jaxor and his family were discovered by Darth Vader while his father was off-world; the fledgling force user was executed by Vader alongside his brother, mother and grandfather.
Behind the scenes
Set between Star Wars: Dark Empire and Star Wars: Dark Empire II in 10 ABY, the cancelled novella Star Wars: Lightsider was set to introduce Jaxor as Kam Solusar's long-dead son. However, the unofficially released manuscript of Lightsider[2] provides a major discrepancy surrounding the time of Jaxor's deaths. Kam Solusar mentions within the manuscript that his family was murdered "thirty-five years ago"[1], which would would indicate that they died in 25 BBY. However, 25 BBY was six years before Darth Vader began hunting Jedi as part of the Great Jedi Purge.[3][4]
