- ―Han Solo, to a spacer
Jake Felan was a male Human smuggler who lived during the Galactic Civil War.
Biography
- "Han Solo thought you might have work for a good smuggler."
"I do. And you are a good smuggler, I guess." - ―A spacer and Jake Felan
After the Battle of Yavin, Jake Felan was working from Tansarii Point Station, in the Bright Jewel system.[1] In 1 ABY,[3] Jake Felan needed to move a crate of sliced weapons off Station Gamma, another space station in the Bright Jewel system. In the meantime, a spacer arrived on Tansarii Point Station along with Han Solo and Chewbacca. The spacer was in fact a young smuggler under training and Solo advised the spacer to work for Felan, an old contact of him. The spacer met Jake Felan in the cantina of Tansarii Point Station and accepted to take a job from him. The spacer therefore took a shuttle to Station Gamma and brought a case of sliced weapons back to Tansarii Point Station. However, while arriving at the drop off point, on the bottom level of the station, the spacer encountered Stormtrooper TK-363. Instead of just shooting him, the spacer lured the soldier and managed to convince him to let him access to the Storage room 02. The spacer dumped the weapons as planned and finally returned to Jake Felan. Felan paid the spacer 500 credit for the successful work.[2]

- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
