"My dad and my aunt fought against the Empire. But she died. Da lost his arm. My parents brought us here. I want to be brave like that."
―Jac Lodain, to Izal Garsea — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)[2]

The aunt of the Twi'lek farmer Jac Lodain was a female individual who fought against the Galactic Empire alongside Lodain's father. The former died, while the latter lost his arm. Lodain's parents later settled with him on the Outer Rim planet Batuu. During the smuggler Izal Garsea's visit to the planet[2] in 34 ABY,[1] Lodain told her of his family's history, including his aunt's death. The farmer wished to bravely fight for a cause like his aunt and father had, though Garsea encouraged him to protect his family instead.[2]

Behind the scenes

Jac Lodain's aunt was mentioned in A Crash of Fate, a 2019 young-adult novel written by Zoraida Córdova.[2]
