The master of the BB-series astromech droid JB-7 was a kind individual.[1] In 34 ABY,[2] he upgraded all of the droid's vital parts, including its photoreceptor, arc welder, and welding torch. Following the upgrade,[1] the droid called into the radio show Droid Station Frequency 3-7-6-4-3-7 on station BSO 401.72, which was based in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu, in order to donate its old spare parts,[3] stating that they came from a moisture and creature-free home.[1]

Behind the scenes

JB-7's was mentioned in the background radio loop of the themed land Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,[3] which opened to guests at Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2019.[4] He is only mentioned by JB-7 in binary,[3] with a translation of what its saying available from staff.[1]
