Ix Ixstra was a female pilot of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. At Echo Base on Hoth, Ixstra spent two weeks in the brig for hitting a Pathfinder over the head with a meal tray. After the Alliance Fleet split following the Battle of Hoth, Ixstra was aboard the Home One, where she was recruited by Wedge Antilles and Wes Janson into the reformed Red Squadron. She was killed in an attack on a nearby pirate base, that threatened the safety of the Alliance's rendezvous point, where he was assigned the callsign Red Six and flew a T-65B X-wing starfighter as Will Scotian's wingmate.[2]
