Ivax and Kiax were a pair of ancient Corellian trickster gods. The vast Kiax and Ivax Nebulae gas clouds were thus named[1] in honor of the navigational havoc they played[2] with starships traveling through the Greater Javin region of the Outer Rim Territories in the centuries prior to the Galactic Civil War.[1]
Behind the scenes
Ivax and Kiax were created for "Galactic Gazetteer: Hoth and the Greater Javin," a 2004 online supplement for Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game.[1]
