The Iscno system was first mentioned in Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry's 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which placed it in grid square K-12.[1] It shared its name with "Iscno,"[2] a misspelling of the name of[3][4] the Inner Rim planet Iseno.[4]
