Intruder trap

An intruder trap was a Chiss device that used a shield generator with reversed polarity to contain an individual. It would redirect any blaster bolts fired by the captive back to the shooter.^[1] Its use was discontinued by 27 BBY due to bystanders being accidentally caught in the trap.^[2]
