"For the removal and control of: bladderworm, crop microserps, multilegged throat croakers, intestinal fangworm colonies, lesser and greater nasal nesting spit-crawlers, cranial nodular worms."
―Advertisement leaflet for Happy-Bore Medicated Dewormer included in Rey's survival guide[1]

The intestinal fangworm was a type of parasitic, non-sentient worm that formed colonies in the intestines of happabores, quadrupedal creatures that could be found on many planets in the Western Reaches. Galacti-Stok distributed Happy-Bore Medicated Dewormer as a product for the removal and control of intestinal fangworm populations in happabores. An advertisement leaflet for the dewormer that listed the intestinal fangworm as one of the product's target types of worm was eventually included by the scavenger Rey in the survival guide[1] she[2] was writing before her departure from the planet Jakku—where happabores were one of the resident lifeforms[1]—in 34 ABY.[2]

Behind the scenes

The intestinal fangworm was mentioned in Jason Fry's 2015 book Rey's Survival Guide.[1]
