The Interceptor Saber Design was a custom lightsaber hilt owned by the droid Hunter J-3DI that he could wield for the Hunters of the Outer Rim competition on Vespaara as an alternative to his standard lightsaber. It resembled the design of both the Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor and Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptors used by Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker shortly before the collapse of the Jedi Order.[1]

Behind the scenes

Interceptor Saber Design was an "Epic" rarity "Weapon Wrap" for the Hunter J-3DI's Jedi Saber Design, which first appeared in the competitive video game Star Wars: Hunters. It served as half of a cosmetic set alongside the Interceptor.[1]
