In the Unknown Regions

"In the Unknown Regions" is a short story that was published in the Dark Force Rising Sourcebook, a 1992 sourcebook published by West End Games.[1] It was later reprinted in The Thrawn Trilogy Sourcebook. The story follows Captain Ferob of the Galactic Empire.[2]

  3. ↑ "In the Unknown Regions" is set during Thrawn's exile to the Unknown Regions, which began sometime between his appearance as a captain in Star Wars Galaxies in 1 ABY and the events of the short story "Command Decision," which The Essential Reader's Companion dates to 2 ABY. In the story, Ferob has been serving Thrawn for at least three years, and he and Thrawn discuss the Emperor as though he is still alive, placing the story before the Battle of Endor, and thus, in 4 ABY.
