Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

In 18 BBY, after the Battle of Dac City on Mon Cala, the Galactic Empire utilized a type of submarine to rescue Darth Vader from the depths of the Great Ungeness Trench.[1] Scores of Imperial submarines were locked in combat against the Mon Cala Mercantile Fleet led by Admiral Raddus in the southern hemisphere of Mon Cala.[2]

Behind the scenes

The submarine debuted, albeit unnamed, in Darth Vader (2017) 15, a canon comic written by Charles Soule, pencilled by Giuseppe Camuncoli, and released in 2018.[1]

The submarine had previously appeared in Star Wars Legends, in the 2003 video game Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike.[3]
