The Bestine Imperial garrison, also known as the Imperial fort, was an Imperial garrison located on top of a small mountain overlooking the capital city of Bestine on the planet Tatooine.
History

The garrison was in operation during the time of the Galactic Civil War, serving as a base of operations for the Galactic Empire following the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY. It garnered the support of Victor Visalis, the Officer of Defense who sought to protect Bestine from various entities, such as bandits and Tusken Raiders.
Pfilbee Jhorn was stationed at this garrison as a janitor, hiring a spacer to exterminate certain animals for him. An Imperial recruiter, Captain Jasha and Caleb Knolar also operated out of this fort-like structure.
Commander Barrezz was also stationed there.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Bestine Imperial garrison was a location in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.
