Imperial Transport Pilots[2] were Imperial combat drivers specialized in operating transport skiffs on the planet Mustafar. They wore white armor with blue markings, resembling that of Imperial stormtrooper body armor with Imperial combat assault tank pilot helmets. The Transport Pilots were deployed at an Imperial base near Mustafar's Fortress Vader.[1] In 1 BBY,[3] the base was infiltrated by Rebel Alliance spies disguised as stormtroopers, one of which, named Athex, was disguised as an Imperial Transport Pilot.[1]
Behind the scenes
Imperial Transport Pilots were created and developed for the virtual reality experience Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire. Their name was revealed as "Imperial Transport Pilot" by the 2018 LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader's Castle 75251 set.[2]
