Imperial Guard (beverage)

Imperial Guard was a crimson-colored wine with fruit flavors and aromas.[2] It was available on tap at Oga's Cantina in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu, and it was suitable for consumption by humans.[1] It was considered bold and robust like the former Galactic Empire.[3]

Behind the scenes

Imperial Guard has been sold to customers at Oga's Cantina bar in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge since the opening of the theme park in 2019. At a large promotional event held on February 26, 2019 prior to the opening, "Imperial Red Cab Sav" was announced.[4] The menu description for Disney's Hollywood Studios reads, "Fully clad crimson-colored, nicely focused red cherry and raspberry aromas combined [sic] robust red berry fruit flavors, a touch of caramel, dark chocolate, and spice with long, supple tannis [sic]."[2]
