The Imperial Emigration Officer was a type of officer in the Galactic Empire that was tasked with establishing control on major spaceports throughout the galaxy. The Emigration Officers monitored and restricted the traffic of individuals, and seized suspected dissidents before they spread the fires of rebellion.[1]
