- "The Imperial Broadcast has announced Cadet Frontier – a new entertainment program that lets aspiring future cadets go through six weeks of simulated combat against rebels. Applications are now open."
- ―Dorna Parros, HoloNet News
The Imperial Broadcast was a media organization that produced entertainment programs[1] and communications for the Galactic Empire. Lieutenant Colonel Senjax served as an official military correspondent for the broadcast and during her childhood the partisan Jyn Erso was able to forge an official Imperial media release with Senjax's signature at the bottom to emphasize a point to fellow rebel Idryssa Barruck. Erso later saw an authentic Imperial Broadcast holo by Senjax detailing the Empire's new relationship with the planet Inusagi and the upcoming sakoola blossom festival being held there shortly before undertaking a mission there[2] in 6 BBY.[3]
In 3 ABY,[4] the Imperial Broadcast announced the new entertainment show Cadet Frontier, in which aspiring future cadets would go through simulated combat against rebels for six weeks. The announcement was covered on HoloNet News by reporter Dorna Parros, who advertized that applications for the show were now open.[1]
