The sakoola blossom festival was an annual festival that was celebrated on the Mid Rim planet Inusagi. Traditionally, humans and the native Rayeth would participate in the festival.[1] However, in around 6 BBY,[2] Imperial stormtroopers prevented a group of Rayeth from entering the Chieftess's Palace to participate in the festivities.[1]
Saw Gerrera and his Partisans infiltrated the festival accompanied by members of Arane's partisans. They entered through the Chieftess's Palace and massacred all the guests. One of Saw's partisans, Maia, was killed during the mission.[1]
