The Iliabath system was located in the Mortex sector,[1] a part of the Trans-Hydian portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] The Insurrection of Iliabath[3] took place in the vicinity of the system[4] at some point by 40 ABY.[5]
Behind the scenes
The Iliabath system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square R-4.[2]

(In reply to: "Jason, is Gendrah-Narvin a city country, star, or planet?")" (backup link) Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, co-authors of The Essential Atlas, stated their intention to create the approximate locations for numerous events based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Insurrection of Iliabath in relation to the Iliabath system.
