Ielo was a small ice moon located near the Outer Rim Territories planet Batuu.[1] In 34 ABY,[2] the Batuuan farmer Julen Rakab briefly visited the moon with his friend Izal Garsea, and was amazed at the sight of snow. They left the moon after an hour, eventually returning to Batuu.[1]
Behind the scenes
Ielo was mentioned in A Crash of Fate, a 2019 young-adult novel written by Zoraida Córdova.[1] Following the release of[3] the June 24, 2025[4] "Star Systems of the Galaxy" appendix published with Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com,[3] author Jason Fry indicated that Ielo would not receive a listing because it was likely located in the Batuu system.[5]
