Icetrompers were a type of giant creature that inhabited the valleys found between the mountains of the frigid, snow-covered, Outer Rim world Gigor. Hardy shrubs, mosses, and coniferous trees grew in the valleys, providing the ecosystem in which the icetrompers survived alongside ice scrabblers and jakobeasts.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, icetrompers were first mentioned in Dawn of Rebellion, a 2018 supplement to the Star Wars Roleplaying system produced by Fantasy Flight Games.[1] The creatures originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where they first appeared in the 2011 massively multiplayer online roleplaying game Star Wars: The Old Republic.[2]
