Icecrawlers were a type of vehicle used by miners to cross the surface of the moon Cynda. While trying to prevent the moon from being destroyed, the Jedi-in-hiding Kanan Jarrus avoided shooting any icecrawlers while in his freighter Moonglow-72, as he did not want to hurt any innocents.[1]
Behind the scenes
Icecrawlers first appeared in the Star Wars Legends novel Knight Errant, which was written by John Jackson Miller and released in 2011. The vehicles were confirmed to be canon when Miller used them in his novel A New Dawn, which was released in 2014.
