IP17 was the author of a message published[1] in around 31 BBY[2] that highlighted the emergence of the Believers cult. The message written by IP17 was briefly published on every newsboard in the Cularin system and was in a format consistent with transmissions sent to the Almas Academy Jedi training institution on the planet Almas. This led some people in the Cularin system to suspect that IP17 was an Jedi envoy who had prepared the message for the attention of the Academy's staff. Others theorized that the message was authored by the Believers themselves to scare the Cularin people.[1]
