The IM series was a model of security droid manufactured by Droid Security Systems, a division of Sacul Industries Group, and was present on their logo. Similar in appearance to the DRK-1 Dark Eye probe droid, they possessed a multitude of sensors and had blue and silver plating.[1] By about the year 1 BBY,[2] the IM series had undergone improvements and were used in Spaceport THX1138.[1]
Behind the scenes
The IM series was created for Tokyo Disneyland's simulator ride theme park attraction Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, which opened on May 7, 2013.[1]
