The I-a3a was a model of solar ionization reactor manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems for use in the Galactic Empire's TIE/IN interceptor. It was an upgrade over[1] the standard I-a2b solar ionization reactor which powered TIE/ln space superiority starfighters,[2] and allowed pilots to execute tighter maneuvers than most other starfighters.[1]
