Hypernautics was an engineering specialization relating to the design, modification and repairing of starships.[1] The planet Esseles in the Darpa sector, particularly its capital city of Calamar (a center of high-tech research and development), specialized in hypernautics and advanced hyperdrive engines.[2] Fia was a qualified hypernautics engineer, having graduated from Corellia University's School of Starship Engineering.[1]
