Hyperframes,[1] also known as a hyperspace ring,[2] were devices used during the time of the High Republic Era that allowed starships to travel through hyperspace. Triangular in shape, hyperframes contained a navidroid, to which the vessel's pilot could transfer coordinates. The devices could be jettisoned after the spacecraft exited hyperspace, allowing the craft to travel unhindered. The Jedi Vector starfighters used by the Jedi Order during the era utilized hyperframes.[1]
