Huulia was a terrestrial celestial body[2] located in the Colonies' Huulia system.[1] It was the origin point of a starfighter whose exhaust nacelle[4] by 32 BBY[5] had ended up in the possession of the junk dealer Watto on the Outer Rim Territories planet Tatooine.[4] The Human[3] male Kit Valent grew up as a roughneck spaceport kid on Huulia. As a teenager, he traveled the galaxy by hiring on to freighters and transports,[2] and by 3 ABY[6] he had joined the offworld Rebel Alliance.[2]
Behind the scenes
Huulia was introduced, in the form of the name of a Huulian starfighter, in the 2000 reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I by Kristin Lund.[7] The celestial body was first established as such by the 2012 reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Huulia system, and therefore Huulia itself, in grid square N-12.[1]
