Scout trooper Hoyel of the Galactic Empire served in a platoon within Tempest Force during the Galactic Civil War. The platoon had been stationed on the Forest Moon of Endor for six months, and two weeks into the deployment, Hoyel's commanding officer had been swallowed by a camouflaged carnivorous fungus. Throughout the platoon's deployment, many of its members, along with other Imperials, had gone missing while patrolling Ewok territory, who had been capturing and eating the Imperials.[1]
