Hortrix Steelarm was a male Chiss smuggler who worked for Jabba Desilijic Tiure during the time of the Galactic Civil War.[3] Sometime following the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, a privateer working on behalf of Lady Valarian killed Steelarm while he piloted his G1-M4-C Dunelizard fighter Scythe IV in the Yavin system.[2]

Behind the scenes

Hortrix Steelarm appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[2] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[4] Hortrix Steelarm was added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Jump to Lightspeed on October 27, 2004.[2]

Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
