Honey glider

The honey glider was a small non-sentient species found on the planet Dalna. They could jump and glide in the air using wing membranes. A diet of blue brikal larvae tinted the animals bright blue. One honey glider attached itself to the human child Simi for weeks after he shared porridge with it, and would hop between Simi and the other Path of the Open Hand children. Marda Ro, caretaker of the children, considered the bright-blue honey glider a good omen.^[1]
