- "The jagged scars bring thoughts of vengeance to my mind… but despite her wounds, Ska Gora still clings to the beauty she possessed before the Rakata came. When I became a ranger and all the Tython system was my home, I made excuses to visit her just to observe a world in harmony with itself."
- ―Daegen Lok, in his holocron
The Holocron of Daegen Lok was the property of the Je'daii Master General Daegen Lok.[1] In approximately 25,792 BBY,[2] during the invasion of the Tython system by the Rakatan Infinite Empire, Lok recorded his thoughts relating to the forest planet Ska Gora in the holocron prior to participating in the Je'daii Order's attack there. Lok reflected on the natural beauty of the world and his previous experiences there as a Je'daii Ranger, when he would create excuses to visit Ska Gora to admire its harmonious environment. He recalled that buildings had not been allowed to be constructed there and that floating cities had drifted past the planet. Lok observed that the natural environment of Ska Gora appeared to be adapting to the presence of Rakatan structures and questioned if the Je'daii were right to attack the peaceful world in order to save the rest of the system.[1]

Tim Lebbon (@timlebbon) on Twitter (post): "@DigiFluid Sure, it's pretty much at the same time as the Force Storm arc." (backup link), the events of the novel take place roughly concurrently to the events of Force Storm, the first arc of the Dawn of the Jedi comic series. Lok leaves Bogan during the second arc, The Prisoner of Bogan and the first issue of the subsequent Force War arc states that one year has passed since the previous arc's events. Therefore, the events of Dawn of the Jedi: Force War 2 must take place in approximately 25,792 BBY.
