High Priest (or High Priestess) was a title used for a ranking member of a religious organization.
The Ithorian religion and civil society were led by a High Priest. Momaw Nadon and Relal Tawron were two such leaders.
During the Galactic Civil War, High Priest Cardo led Sedrian society as the leader of the Priests of the Sun.[1]
High Priests were members of the Priest caste, and highly regarded by members of Yuuzhan Vong society.
Teroenza was the High Priest of Ylesia.
