Herbs de Lunar Eclipse were herbs used for the cooking of the creature Smapp. At least one Smapp recipe recommended twelve tubes of Herbs de Lunar Eclipse to be mixed with butter and spread on the meat using a dental mop, a kitchen utensil.[1]

Behind the scenes

Herbs de Lunar Eclipse were mentioned in a one-page cooking recipe titled "Cooking a Smapp," written by Bob Carrau for the 1993 book Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas.[1] Lucasfilm employee Leland Chee, who maintains the Holocron continuity database, has indicated that information contained in the book is non-canonical[2] with respect to the Star Wars Legends continuity.[3]
