Hemisphere sensor screens were hardware designed to monitor and detect objects in the environment. One was prominently used on a world in Wild Space when an Imperial scouting party led by Colonel Mosh Barris and Captain Voss Parck were scouting it sometime during the reign of the Galactic Empire. It was possible to fine-mesh the device to increase its granularity.[1]
