A heating element was a technological component with multiple uses. It could be used as part of the life support system[1] or as a component in a weapon.[2] A heating element, along with an oxygen recirculator, was part of the life support system of an ejector seat. It was able to provide an extravehicular pilot with heating for around twenty-four hours.[1] Heating elements were used in the construction of Stokhli spray sticks. They were located in the weapon's shaft.[2]
