Hayde Gofai was a Human female club-hopper from the planet Coruscant. In 22 BBY, she talked with the fellow Human Sne Wo at the Outlander Club on Coruscant as the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker entered, searching for bounty hunter Zam Wesell. She looked for a date in the Skywalker, fixing a bold gaze to him, but unfortunately for her, he was looking for Wesell and not romance.

Biography

Hayde Gofai was a Human female thrill-seeking club-hopper native to[1] the planet[4] Coruscant.[1] She[2] was a participator in Coruscant's party scene.[5] In 22 BBY,[6] Gofai visited the Outlander Club,[3] a nightclub and gambling hall in the Uscru Entertainment District of Coruscant.[7] She walked in the club, drinks in hand, with the fellow Human[3] Sne Wo[2] as the Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker and his master Obi-Wan Kenobi entered, searching for the bounty hunter Zam Wesell[3]

The pair stood near the entrance of the club as she looked at the Padawan.[3] Gofai could not help but notice Skywalker as he surveyed the crowd in the club.[8] Elsewhere in the club, she chatted with Wo[3] before trying her luck with Skywalker.[9] She affixed a bold, seductive gaze[2] to him as he passed by.[9] Unfortunately for her, he was looking for Wesell and not a date.[2]

Personality and traits

The club-hopper was a thrill seeker[1] who was not shy.[2] Gofai, who was considered beautiful,[2] had brown eyes,[3] light skin and blonde hair.[1] Her feminine first name and her surname were of Human origin.[10] She was romantically interested in Anakin Skywalker.[2]

At the club, she wore a small black top, small black shorts, a sleeveless blue cloak,[5] blue lipstick,[11] black heels, and small stars on her face and body.[5]

Hayde Gofai was created for the prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones,[3] which was released on May 16, 2002.[12] The Outlander Club scenes including Gofai, who was portrayed by an uncredited[3] Fiona Johnson,[13] were shot at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 17, 2000.[14] The extra introduced the first episode of the Episode II behind-the-scenes video series on location,[15] and then the eighth episode alongside the extra playing Sne Wo and another extra.[16] The first episode, "Production Offices", was released on August 1, 2000.[17]

The character first appeared in the first issue of the Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones comic series, penciled by Jan Duursema and published by Dark Horse Comics[18] and released on April 17, 2002.[19] Gofai was incorrectly portrayed with dark hair in the comic.[18] The character was first identified in an Episode II Depth Commentary available on StarWars.com that could be accessed through the DVD-ROM home release of Attack of the Clones[11] on November 12, 2002.[20]
