The Harbor Wars were a conflict fought during the High Republic Era[2] by 228 BBY.[1] The Tarkin family member Tragkul Tarkin took part in the wars, carrying out diversions. During the Battle of Eriadu[2] that year,[1] after[2] Sevran Tarkin—the head of the Tarkin family[3]—noted that they would need to draw forces of the Nihil away from a planetary defense bunker on the edge of Eriadu City,[2] the couple Zeen Mrala and Lula Talisola[4] agreed to help, with Tragkul embracing the two and asking if they were thinking of a diversion.[2] He[3] then noted that diversions used to be his specialty during the Harbor Wars, with the three then leaving the Tarkin Command Station to carry it out.[2]

The Harbor Wars were mentioned in the sixteenth issue of the 2023 comic series Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures. The issue was written by Daniel José Older and published by Dark Horse Comics as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase III[2] on March 19, 2025.[5]
