A hangover was an unpleasant result of excessive alcohol consumption. Pilots sometimes referred to a hangover as "Brandy Ague," and some species, such as the Yuzzem, had particularly long hangovers due to their species' size.
Hangovers could be cured by anti-veisalgia drugs, but continued excessive drinking gradually made these less effective.
