The Hanging Valley was a location on the frozen world of Hoth. Located immediately to the west of the Clabburn Range, the valley marked the southern boundary of the North Ridge. The easternmost point of the Cirque Glacier was also marked by this valley. Hanging Valley was also to the west of Echo Base. Luke Skywalker and Han Solo's snowspeeders flew through Hanging Valley. A Viper probe droid flew through Hanging Valley when it observed a power surge. A wampa attacked another Probe Droid in this area.
