The Hale Return was a medical supply platform used by the Imperial Remnant[1] that was positioned near Borosk[4]—a planet located in the Outer Rim Territories's Prefsbelt sector[2] in the New Territories[3]—during the Yuuzhan Vong War,[4] where the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong were invading the galaxy.[1] In 28 ABY,[5] when the Remnant was engaged with a Yuuzhan Vong fleet in the Borosk system, the Dreadnaught-class cruiser Braxant Bonecrusher—after having successfully rescued prisoners from a Yuuzhan Vong slaveship during the fighting—was directed to dock at the Hale Return by Captain Arien Yage of the Imperial Navy so that the rescued prisoners could receive urgent medical attention.[1]

Behind the scenes

Hale Return appeared in 2003's Force Heretic I: Remnant, a novel written by Sean Williams and Shane Dix as part of The New Jedi Order series. It later got an entry in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, which was published in 2008.
